And it all comes down to one day…I wish I paid more attention to the coming of it. I didn’t really feel the “bittersweet” feeling that everyone keeps talking about until I woke up today. I drove my little sister to school and I was reading every banner that the school had just put up on the street lamps around school. I felt so much pride in our school that despite the lack of spirit of the students there, I can’t agree more that it is one of the best in the district. After today, who knows if I’m still going to see the faces that I used to see everyday. Maybe I’ll still see some, and others will quickly be another memory. Im not bitter about graduating. I am truly happy for what everyone has achieved and I believe that we all earned it. I am not completely sad that I might not see a lot of the people I called friends because we’re all moving on to another chapter in life. None of us should be stuck to the memories of high school. People come and go and that’s just the way it is. I cherish every moment I had with every person who is graduating with me regardless of it being as simple as walking to class together. Everyone became a part of a very significant memory. Thank you all for making it an incredible ride. The ups and downs had nothing on us and we made it with flying colors. I hope everyone moves on with a positive attitude, prepared to tackle the world, because that’s what we spent our 4 years for—to be ready to take it to the next level.
To my friends, thank you for being so supportive and creating such fun memories with me. I won’t see all of you as much as I did when we were still in school, and maybe we’ll drift apart. But go and search the world for more opportunities and meet new friends. Live life without regrets. Maybe, we’ll see each other again, who knows. You were all a part of me by being my friends. For that, I thank you.
And with that, I leave you Olympian High’s class of 2012 graduates :)

I don’t know what came to my mind when I thought I can finally sleep in now. Of course, I still had to submit to my older sister responsibility of taking my little siblings to school. Then I had to get ready for my best friend’s graduation. I was glad that Rowena was able to go with me to Alfred’s graduation. I wouldn’t wanna be the only girl cheering for him at the amphitheater. I had a moment of pride when I heard “Alfred Villanueva Arca” echo through the Cricket Amphitheater. Even though he was lazy, he was still smart. It was a really warm morning and the sundress and flip-flops served me well, not to mention, that him and I were perfectly matching in purple :) best friend telepathy. I was so happy that I didn’t have to struggle finding him cuz he found me and Rowena through the crowd. We took pictures and spent 20 mins just looking for his parents. We spent 30 mins trying to get off the vicinity. He decided to go with me and Rowena with our missions for the day. We got gas and thankfully the “Costco Boy” wasn’t there. LOL Went to Olympian and saw Mr. Avasan again. I made sure he wasn’t gonna make me cry the third time. We satisfied our hunger with Tapex and tab was on me. I freaking love my best friend haha. I helped Rowena find a job then went to Southwestern so she can take her of her college stuff. I guess i am hella lagging on my college stuff!haha Spent the rest of the afternoon at my house. I was showing them my baby pictures and my parents’ old couple pictures. My mom gave Alfred and Rowena candy and a card with her genuine words of wisdom. She has that effect on people and she just loves them. Senior awards night was good. I think I did okay (maybe a little bit to the bad side) on the national anthem. I shouldn’t spend 4 hours of my day without drinking water. I felt bad that I didn’t apply to a lot of good scholarships. But I still got several awards. I thank my mom because I really could not have done everything without her. She taught me to be independent and liberal. She gave me the confidence that I am capable of anything. Im glad that I made her proud.

i miss doing this…seriously, I just keep asking myself “why the hell did i stop?!” That was the best stress-reliever ever. Someone please buy me a punching bag as a graduation present.
